We got our first Baraka schnauzer from Sherry five years ago, the very first Baraka puppy she sold, a black & silver girl named April. We love her so much that after owning girls exclusively since 1984, we got our first boy from Sherry three years ago. Baraka's August Texas Heat (Auggie)(son of Sherry's Rory and Venture's Texas Two Step)has been such a blessing to our family. What a wonderful boy! He's so loving and gentle, although he's the top dog around here and takes his position as head of security very seriously. Last year, added Petey to our family. Of course, he's a Baraka puppy also, bringing us to three of Sherry's dogs! Our April is the queen bee around here, but the boys are the snugglers and total loves. Every time I see pictures of Starsky's black male pups, I feel that tug of wanting to bring one home. Financial concerns (grooming, vetting, teenage daughter.......) stop me, but I would just love to bring one of those little guys home and name him Zephyr, in honor of Sherry's top dog, who is the coolest boy ever.
