Baraka Hitches To A Bani Star

Introducing Hitches

Hitches, shown by Carri Bradford and groomed by Angela Lawrence won "Winners Dog" at
the Travis County Kennel Club on October 28, 2007

While his mother, Ruedesheim's Absolut Awe, has points toward her championship, Hitches is the first "Baraka" to compete in AKC conformation. Hitch is scheduled for shows this fall in Houston and Waco. His proud sire is Baraka's Blue Star of Bani, aka Starsky


Hitch is big brother to the Rory and Starsky's black boys. ( see posts dated 8/13/07)

Heidi was looking for a playmate and brother, so they came to
see the black boys. Especially the black boy that still had his
ears. She interviewed them all. Each of them barked at Heidi.
Then, they asked to see the salt and pepper boy. Pricked ears?
Heidi can do that, if she wants too.
No contest, he growled at Heidi and she chose Starsky and Zabba's
boy, named him Alfie and took him home.

Babies and Bath Water

Sorry it took me so long to post this 13 year old picture
of another Baraka puppy owner who has always
had a schnauzer in her life. This one trained Rory's
sister.

How Much Are Baraka Puppies?

His owner says:
Sherry, He is the sweetest dog!
I started doing rescue long ago due to the wonderful
temperment of my very first schnauzer
and I must say,
Gusto reminds me so much of her.
He gets along with everyone,
is so gentle with the baby,

playful with Sophie ( his schnauzer sister)



but leaves her alone when she says enough.
Everyone adores him!

London von Baraka

Rory and Starsky's boy that I called Linus has moved on and is now London von Baraka. He left a ton on fuzzy black puppy fur on the grooming table and emerged as a stunning black dog.

Paterak's Wild About Harry, Honor and Oscar's boy,
introduces his brothers, the rest of the Paterak Boys

They recently visited the Texas Coast where they awe'd the
beach crowd with their exceptional behavior


Harry turned one year in August 2007 and he is the middle one in age.
Louie and Cody were adopted after Harry.
They have all had obedience training. Harry watched the video on the
"Bark Collar" and never barked when it was on. Is he smart or what?

I am Melody, I will be named Baraka's Heartsong of Bani, because I was born with a little heart on my chest. Sherry is keeping me, but has too many boys to keep my brothers. Besides, they all look like their daddy, Starsky. Those are my brothers above. I am in charge of all of them.

I am Discus and perfectly square.

My ears can still be cropped, but I
like them this way.


My brothers and I are very hard to photograph because we move faster than the camera. Also, we are in between being babies and being dogs. So, our coats are fuzzy, our eyebrows are not long and our beards are not tamed. When I grow up I will look just like my dad Starsky.
My brothers and I are fun, fun, fun, and more fun.

I am Hawk because of the shape of a white spot on my chest when I was born. I usually hold my ears up straight, but when I get excited, so does my left ear.







I am told that I am the sweetest and give the best hugs.
I am also a HUNK.
I want someone that will give hugs,
rub my tummy, take me places.

Baraka Miniature Schnauzers

Welcome All to the Premiere Post of Baraka Miniature Schnauzers!

Baraka means blessing. I chose Baraka for our kennel name because that is what my dogs have been to me. I breed miniature schnauzer so other people can experience the Divine Love they exhibit from the day they are born. My goal in breeding is to conform to the standards for miniature schnauzer as set for by the American Miniature Schnauzer Club. Equally important to sound conformation is excellent health, an easy to live with temperament, and performance potential.
